The PRS Silver Sky, John Mayer's signature guitar. I've admired this guitar since the day it was released. Together, Paul Reed Smith and John Mayer created a modernized version of the classic s-type guitar. I tasked myself with the challenge of building this guitar from scratch in 3D to improve my hard-surface modeling skills. I created a brief series of near photorealistic renders to showcase the 3D model.
Modeled in Cinema 4D, textured in Substance Painter and Redshift, rendered with Redshift.
